GILMORE CITY-Monday evening, April 9, occurred the death of Dave Mulholland of Fort Dodge, formerly of this place. Mr. Mulholland has been in poor health for a number of years and many times his life was despaired of but about two weeks ago he contracted a severe case of pneumonia from which he was unable to recover. The funeral was held Wednesday morning at 9 00 from St. John's church of this city. A special train brought the body, family and relatives to this place Wednesday morning. He leaves to mourn his loss three sons and three daughters, M. J., Clem, Emmett, Mae, Margaret and Grace, two brothers of this place and a sister of Denver, Colo., who was unable to attend the funeral on account of sickness. Mr. Mulholland was engaged in the real estate business here for many years, moving to Fort Dodge a few years ago at which place he resided up to the time of his death. Mr. Mulholland was a man of sterling character, honored and respected by all who knew him. The entire community join in extending their sympathy to the bereaved family.
