Mollie Frances Woodall Stancil was the daughter of William Colvin Seth Woodall and Sarah Frances Manus. Mollie's parents were married in Jackson County, Georgia on July 30, 1874.

Siblings by her parents were: Junious Singleton 'Sang' Woodall and Charles Roman 'Charlie' Woodall.

Her mother's date of death and place were unknown. But due to the story of the Woodall and Manus family, Sarah went to the stream/creek one day to wash clothes and was never heard of again and her body was never found. It is alleged that her father killed her mother because of a possible affair with another man. The Woodall family members said he told them he killed her. He later came to Florida with another Woman, Julia Blanch Unknown and may have kidnapped her. The marriage of William and Julia has never been learned or documented. This story was told by numerous relatives.

Siblings by the marriage of her father and Julia are: Annie, Samuel David, Lavoy, and William Singleton 'Sang' Woodall. It was also told he got angry with Lavoy working in a field, hit him in the head with a board, which killed him.

Mollie's father married Hattie Jane Reese on March 10, 1900 in Taylor County, Florida. Of that marriage, there were 7 children: Effie Lee, Edward C, Evie L, Walton D 'Dick', Ollie Herban, Artie Adell, and William Colvin 'Junior' Woodall, Jr.
