On June 26, 1920 Trijntje Leep and Jan ten Brug had in Leeuwarden, the capital city of the Dutch northern province Friesland, son Johannes ten Brug, who married Trijntje Deinum. They had four children. In the period 1958-1982 Johannes ten Brug was city councillor (gemeenteraadslid) for the social labour party PvdA and in 1965 he was a City Counsel Member (wethouder) and the Vice Mayor (loco burgemeester) of Leeuwarden.
On February 21, 1952 Trijntje's husband Jan ten Brug, who worked at an egg cooperation, died at the age of 67 years in Leeuwarden, Friesland. Trijntje died in November 1962 at the age of 75 years in Leeuwarden too.
Their son Johannes ten Brug died on February 2, 1992 in Leeuwarden too at the age of 71 years.
