Miss Margaret Hagner, 71, sister of the late Sheriff Henry Hagner, died last night at the home of her sister, Mrs. Katherine Schneiders at Wardsville. Miss Hagner had been ill for five days. Her death was due to pneumonia.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hermann Hagner, well-known residents of Wardsville, she was born in that community on November 21, 1872. She spent her lifetime in that section of the county and was active in the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church there.
She leaves her sister, with whom she made her home, and a brother, Ben Hagner, who resides near Horse Shoe Bend.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night but will probably be held Saturday morning at Wardsville.
