Thomas Patrick, Jr.
Mr. Thomas Patrick, Jr., age 71, of the Springhill Subdivision in the Belfast section of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, died Monday, September 6th, 2004 at his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Russell County, Virginia and was a son of the late Thomas H. and Ida Mae Patrick, Sr., both Russell County natives. He made his home in the Belfast area the past 40 years and was a retired sewing machine mechanic for Eastern Isles and Bristol Lingerie. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Stallard Memorial Church at St. Paul, Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Lynn Patrick, one sister, Ethel Sluss, and three brothers, Ernest, Cecil, and Howard Patrick.

One Daughter, Mrs. Sherry Meadows and husband, Bobby of Pounding Mill, Virginia

Three Sons:
Mr. Thomas Roger Patrick and wife, Linda of Rosedale, Virginia
Mr. Jeffery Scott Patrick of Victoria, Virginia
Mr. Steven Shane Patrick and wife, Brenda of Cedar Bluff, Virginia

Two Sisters:
Mrs. Lillie Lampkins of Lebanon, Virginia
Mrs. Elizabeth Farmer of St. Paul, Virginia

One Brother, Mr. Henry Ford Patrick of Kingsport, Tennessee

Three Grandchildren:
Jessica Duty, Chris Lewis, and Jacob Snead

Three Step Grandchildren:
Kristin Steffey, Shawn Steffey, and Kevin Steffey

Two Great Grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Patrick, Jr. will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev. Roy Kennedy and Rev. Carter Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: J. C. Hawkins, Bobby McGlothlin, Ira 'Artie' Herndon, Larry Kilgore, Arlin Turner, Paul Helbert, Danny Hall, and Danny Duty. Honorary pallbearers: Jackie Helbert, David Settle, Ebby Boggs, and Charlie Mutter.
