She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County, a member of the Blackey Baptist Mission, a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.
She was precede in death by her step-father: Eugene Blankenship; her husband Tommy Stacy, Jr. and one daughter: Connie Stacy.
She is survived by her mother: Lula Stacy Baker of Wolford, VA; two daughters: Missy Hardin and husband Ricky of Hurley, VA, Michelle Christian and husband Tony of Wolford, VA; three sons: Tommy Dewayne Stacy, William Eugene Stacy and Joshua Stacy all of Wolford, VA; one sister: Priscilla Addison of Mavisdale, VA; three brothers: Robert Blankenship of Hurley, VA, Rufus Blankenship and Ricky Blankenship both of Hurley, VA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Donnell Stacy Stacy will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Knox Creek Church of God at Hurley, VA with Reverends: Henry Rowe, Alan Stacy and Doug Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Wolford Cemetery at Wolford, VA.
Active Pallbearers will be Alan Addison, Matthew Stacy, Timothy Blankenship, Robbie Blankenship, Gregory Stacy, Christopher Rowe, Jamie Stiltner and Hollis Ray (Bo) Stacy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Hardin, Tony Christian, Robert Blankenship and Rufus Blankenship.
The family will receive friends at the Knox Creek Church of God after 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Services will be held Sunday and Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
