Captain Waller R. Preston, of Montgomery county, Va., whose death has been mentioned, was killed at Bremond, Texas, on the 1st instant, by a man named Robinson. The parties had some words in the street, when Preston placed his hand on Robinson, who stabbed him in the breast. Preston ejaculated, " I am a dead man," and expired in fifteen minutes.
