Elizabeth Remic, 90, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jim Kral, in Canton, Ohio, where she lived since 2001. She was born in Export, Sept. 25, 1919.

Liz is also survived by daughters, Phyllis (Gary) Saletta, of Irwin, and Arleen (Ted) Ankeney, of Maryland; also six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; parents, Fiori and Marie Carmelia (Lelli) Berardinelli; brothers, Samuel, William, Albert, Frank and John; and sisters, Angela (Chuck) Djubek and Esther (Pete) Pruzynski. Mrs. Remic was retired from Kaufmann's, Monroeville.

Friends welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the WOLFE-VON GEIS FUNERAL HOME INC., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export, 724-327-1400, where liturgical services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Father Michael P.
