His funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, March 5, 2010 at High Shoals Church of God with Rev. Billy Dunigan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Cooper was born March 29, 1943 in Lincoln County to the late Carl and Bertha Campbell Cooper. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Cooper and Paul Cooper, and two sons, Bryant Cooper and Robert Cooper. Mr. Cooper worked as a brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Pennington Cooper of the home; a stepson, Kenneth Wayne Wyatt, Jr., of Gaffney, SC, two sisters, Hazel Deal of Lincolnton and Coleen Isenhour of Catawba; and one granddaughter.
