Pete and Pete's mother Patsy were living in 1870 in the household of Alfred Avery CURTIS (my ancestor). We are trying to track the EDDINGS line.
Headstone reads 1862-1934. Death Certificate "informant" by Eddie Lee EDDINGS of Oakwood (Leon County) reads birth unknown. The birth year I set up 1869 was based on the one-year old Pete EDDINGS in the 1870 census.
Pete EDDINGS is 1st found age 1 Leon Co. (1870 census) with his mother Patsy.
Patsy works in the home of widower A.A. CURTIS. AA's wife died January 5, 1870 after giving birth to an infant December 29, 1869. AA remarried April 18, 1871.
Peter is also found in Leon County under marriages. Pete EDDINGS (sic) and Emma SIMPSON were married November 21, 1897. Also, a Pete EDDINS married Mary NASH June 16, 1892.
