Born in Florence County she was a daughter of the late Jessie Brand Osborne and Mary Floyd Osborne. She worked in the manufacturing industry as a seamstress and was a member of The First Free Will Baptist Church of Kingstree. She was a Sunday School Teacher and Secretary of the church for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Austin Mouzon; two sons, James Emory Mouzon, Jessie Darryl Mouzon; two grandchildren, Randal Allen Guy, James Emory Mouzon; one great-grand child, Mary Elizabeth Guy; three sisters, Jeddie Mae Coker, Agnes Mouzon, Lillie Johnson; four brothers, Moultrie Osborne, Hayden Osborne, Walter Osborne and Murray Osborne.
She is survived by two daughters Lynnette Ard Morris of New Zion, Nell Ward of Kingstree; one son, Harry Michael Mouzon of Florence; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchilden and two great-great-grandchildren.
