William H. Ringer died at the residence of his son, Hiram Ringer, near Rock Ridge schoolhouse in Connellsville township, aged 66 years. He had been ill for a week, suffering from pneumonia. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ringer, was born in Springfield township, and spent his entire life in Fayette county. He was married to Henrietta Means, who survives him. Besides his son Hiram he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Scott Firestone and Mrs. John Boyd. Deceased also leaves five sisters. His aged mother also survives him. The funeral was held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from the residence of his son, and the remains were interred in Mount Olive cemetery.
