MRS. WILLETT H. CLARK
Mrs. Eleanor Persons Clark of 28 Tower Place, a former member of the faculty of the Yonkers High School and at one time assistant principal of the New Paltz Normal School at New Paltz, N. Y., died this morning at her home as the result of a heart attack. She was the wife of Willett H. Clark.
Mrs. Clark, who was sixty-two, retired last night apparently in good health.
She was a native of Omaha, Neb., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Persons, and lived the early part of her life in the western part of New York State.
After her graduation from the Buffalo Normal School she taught in the schools of LeRoy and Ripley, N. Y. She was a member of the faculty of the New Paltz Normal School before coming to this city.
Her marriage to Mr. Clark took place here in 1901. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Willett P. and Charles Clark, both of Yonkers; and two daughters. Mrs. W, H. Buechner of Fort Knox. Ky., and Miss Mary M. Clark of this city.
The Rev. Wilbur Caswell, rector of St. Paul's, will officiate at funeral services at the late residence Wednesday at 11 A. M. Interment will take place in the family plot, Oakwood Cemetery, Mount Kisco. [Published in "The Herald Statesman", Younkers, New York, Monday, March 11, 1935. Page 2]
