Geraldine was born in Seattle, WA on February 22, 1927 to Gabriel and Glenda (Knapp) Reich. Geraldine was an only child.
Geraldine was professed, Sister Francesca, on May 18, 1954 in the Episcopal Community of Sisters of the Holy Nativity. She ministered in California and New York. When she was stationed at Nativity Convent in Fond du Lac she attended Marian College in the Nursing Program, thus she became acquainted with the Sisters of St. Agnes. She converted to the Roman Catholic Church and desired to enter the Congregation of St. Agnes. She was professed as a Sister of St. Agnes in 1971. She ministered as a nurse at Nazareth Heights, Home Health Services, and with the L'Arche Community in Mobile, AL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gabriel (Harry) Reich and her mother, Glenda Knapp Reich. She is survived by the Sisters of St. Agnes with whom she lived, prayed and ministered.
Visitation for Sister Francesca Reich will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at 4:00 at Nazareth Court and Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2 in the St. Francis Home Chapel. Father Ken Smits, Capuchin, will preside. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Springs Cemetery.
