Census and family info conflict...First married ? about 1825 and had a child that died about 1828,then Susan(1831-1909) and then 2 daughters born between 1834-1836 that upon the death of his first wife in 1836 were abopted out..Met his second wife Mary Ann who might of been a school teacher in the Niles area.Had one son Charles(born 1840)Moved to Ceres and then Bell Run.Bought large tract of land with John Pearsall, who might be Mary Ann's brother or cousin, as farm lots...Served in the War of 1812(War between the Lakes)and Indian Wars right after...Son Charles served in Civil War coming home wounded with a bad leg that never healed right...Joseph's wife Mary Ann died Nov. 1876..He was found dead in bed Jan. 31 1881 at the age of 90...
