Her husband, Archie Boghosian, died in 1963.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Montecalvo, and her husband, Joseph, of Whitinsville; six grandchildren, Evans Bedigian, James Bedigian, Dr. Bruce Boghosian, Ann Nigro, Joseph Montecalvo, and Atty. Michael Montecalvo; and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Harry Boghosian, and a daughter, Martha Garabedian.
Mrs. Boghosian was born in Hussenek, Armenia, July 15, 1906, daughter of Bedros and Margaret (Hagopoian) Avakian.
She had lived here since moving from Alleppo, Syria, in 1922. She worked at the former Kartiganer Hat Factory in Upton.
Mrs. Boghosian was a member of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Whitinsville and the Ladies Guild of the church.
She belonged to the Armenian Red Cross and the Northbridge Senior Center. She was a wonderful cook, and she enjoyed reading, playing cards and bingo, and sewing.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, July 16, in the Armenian Apostolic Church of Whitinsville. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling Hours will be 9-10:30 AM, Monday, July 16, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville.
