Parrottsville, died Sunday evening at
Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Gunter was a member of
Browns Chapel Church. She was the
widow of George Washington
Gunter and was preceded in
death by 2 sons, A.J. "JAY",Fred Gunter,
and 2 daughters Frances Cook, Lola Fay
Gunter. Survivors include two sons and
three daughters-in-law: Sher-
man and Lady Gunter of
Parrottsville, Bruce and Fayetta
Gunter of White Pine, and
Mildred Eaton Gunter of Greene-
ville; three daughters and three
sons-in-law: Flora and Bill Hux
and Zola and Paul Jennings, all of
Parrottsville, Hazel Norton of
Greeneville, and Sanford Cook of
Greeneville; 26 grandchildren
including a special grandson and
granddaughter-in-law: Dale and
Kathy Gunter of White Pine; 32
great-grandchildren; and 10
great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends
from 7-9 this evening at Maloy
Funeral Home in Newport.
The funeral service will be held
at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maloy
Funeral Home Chapel with inter-
ment in White Cemetery. The
Rev. Paul Jennings and the Rev.
Richard Doty will officia
