Eileen-10 was the daughter of Anna-9 Warner and her husband R.D. Williams.

She married Hazen Vern Doan in 1945 while he was a member of the US Marine Corps.

Obituary:

"Eileen is survived by Myrtle Wackerle, her sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews including Nancy (Williams) Dickman and Annette (Williams) Edwards of Michigan.

"She attended Michigan State University and majored in Physical Education, where she was active in most sports.

"During WWII, she was in the Civil Air Patrol and participated in entertaining the troops at USO dances.

"Eileen worked in the Bay City Public School systems for 27 years. She was actively involved in her church, and her faith was extremely important to her. She filled her life with square dancing, sewing, camping, knitting, loved birds, traveling, doll making, and played a great game of Scrabble.

"For the past several years, she resided at King's Nursing Home.

"Eileen was a strong woman with an amazing heart. She truly gave of herself to help others, and inspired those around her to be the best individual they could be."
