Ronald graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in business in 1952.
He served as a 1st lieutenant in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957 and spent two years in Germany and served as a photo reconnaissance officer in the 38th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron.
Mr. Colporn is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Jean (Rice) Colpron, his daughters, Linda (Colporn) Buck and Jenny (Colpron) David, siblings, Merlin Colpron, Colleen (Colpron) Sverdrup, Milton Colpron and Patty (Colpron) Walker.
