I wanted a mouse but the pet store only sold Gerbil's so I named her Mouse. She was to be my Studio Mouse in my art studio.
She was a feisty little thing and I could only hold her by wearing 2 pair of garden gloves. I didn't care. She was fun and I love her.
My dogs were pretty interested, too. When I cleaned her cage, I'd put her in a small wire carrying cage and place it on the floor. The dogs, Erin, Annie Bean and Stella would sniff and play with her - just a little. It was so cute. I did it to desensitize them, they got so they ignored her and before that, they were too aggressive. Everyone was happy!
