Bill along with his bubby Garth Brooks came to live with me on January 16, 1993. I went to Atlanta to get another Chihuahua from Paco's blood-line. I got him on the same day I got Garth Brooks and they were lifetime bonded brothers never leaving one another for long. They were called "bubbies" for brothers.
It was time for President Bill Clinton to be inaugurated and I thought I'd name my dog to commemorate the occasion. My Bill lived up to his name, he was "a horny little b.....d" - a little joke that had a lot of truth.
He was a stoic little fellow that had a spinal cord stroke when he was 8 months old. I was devastated that I had such a once-in-a-lifetime dog that I might lose to soon. He recovered fine but always needed a "lift up". I even built an outside staircase special for him.
He died in my arms of heart disease, sadly, a family trait both his predecessor Paco and his bubby Garth all had.
I adored him and will always remember and miss him.
