Angelita, nee Esparza, Dunn, 84, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born July 21, 1926, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Angelita retired as a caseworker from the Illinois Department of Unemployment where she worked for over 30 years. She was the first and only woman chaplain for all inmates in St. Clair County Jail and throughout prisons in the state of Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brooks Dunn; and four sons, Anthony Schoate, Danny Schoate, Eddy Dunn and Hauk Dunn.
Surviving are her son and four daughters, Thomas Schoate of Hartford, Ill., Angel (Dennis) Sentowski of Oklahoma City, Okla., Debbie Stout of Vandalia, Ill., Sheree (Jerry) Edwards of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Priscilla Stout of Fairview Heights, Ill.; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; three sisters; four brothers; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, Ill., with Pastor Doris Ely officiating. Interment will be in St. Clair Memorial Park, Fairview Heights, Ill.
