Inez was born to the late Oscar E. and Ida Lee Myers Parrish on January 10, 1922, and had made this area her home all of her life. She was a graduate of Fair Grove High School of Thomasville, NC, and Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Inez was a registered nurse and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, a brother, Roy E. Parrish; sisters, Eva P. Freeman and Eutha P. Small; and a sister-in-law, Ehtel S. Parrish. On June 21, 1943, she was married to Paul Franklin Bean, who predeceased her on February 17, 1963.
Surviving is her daughter, Marsha Bean Hayduk of High Point; a sister, Ruby Parrish Loflin of High Point; a brother, Albert Parrish and his wife Alice of Trinity, NC, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Stoneman and the Rev. Darrell Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Westfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Trinity, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 pm on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be sent to the Hospice Home at High Point, 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
