Doris Hughes Wilson, 67, of Paducah died at 3:50 p.m. Friday at her residence.

Mrs. Wilson was a former employee of Florishem Shoe Company and Woolco Department Store. She was a member of Bridge Street Eagles No. 3135.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Wilson; three daughters, Kim Cunningham and husband Troy, Doris Allen and husband Ronald, all of Smithland, and Cathy Kirk and husband Don of Lake Station, Ind.; one sister, Wilma Roach and husband Gary of Paducah; three grandchildren, Kendra James and husband Shawn of Benton, Tara Cunningham of Murrary and Christopher Allen of Smithland; and two great-grandchildren, KeAnna James and Kaydence James, both of Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe Dewey and Lula Anice Smith Hughes; one sister, Elva Hughes Hamilton; and three brothers, Edward Gene Hughes, Dewey Clint Hughes and Rubin M. Hughes.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2010, at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Palestine Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today at Lindsey Funeral Home.
