Mrs. Mary Kimsey Ricker, 94, widow of Rufus Hammond Ricker, of Route 1 Murrow Road, Blythe, Georgia, entered into rest Tuesday, April 2, 1991, at St. Joseph Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Thom Davies officiating. Pallbearers will be R.S. Aldridge, Robin Aldridge, John Engel, William J. Kimsey, Gary Dozier and Ron Faglier. Mrs. Ricker, a native of Macon County, North Carolina, had taught high school in Richmond County and served as postmaster in Bath, S.C. for several years. She had lived in Richmond County for 65 years and was a member of the Blythe United Methodist Church. J.M. Posey and Sons Funeral Home.
