Barzilla and wife Serena (Chollar) Barker and sons Thomas Eliphaz, George Henry, Frederick Edwin, Erasmus Ellery and William Freemont moved to Minnesota from Homer, Cortland, New York in 1863. Barzilla died the following year. Altho his day of death is inscribed as the 19th, his probate records show that he dictated and signed his last will and testament on 25 March. Will was probated April 6th.
