Newton ~ Bertie Minerva Drum Caldwell, age 93 of Newton passed away April 24, 2012 at Hospice of Catawba Valley.
Born April 12, 1919 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Locke Drum and Mettie Drum.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd Caldwell and an infant son, William Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm at Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Helms officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
