Robert "Bob" E. Jordan, 57, of Kingston NH, died unexpectedly on December 27, 2005, at the Exeter Hospital, Exeter NH. He was born February 15, 1948, in Exeter, son of the late Alfred and Doris (Smart) Jordan.

Bob grew up in Kensington NH and was a graduate of Exeter High School. He enlisted in the US Navy and served on the USS Fulton during the Vietnam War. While still in the service, he married his high school sweetheart Cheryl Arnold. Upon his discharge, they settled in Kensington to begin raising a family.

In the early 1980's, they moved to Kingston NH where Mr. Jordan had lived until his death. He was always known to be a hard worker, initially doing roof work with Dumas Co. out of Kensington, then heavier construction work with MCO Construction in Hampton NH, and then currently and for the past 20 with Busby Construction in Atkinson NH. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, which included many rides on the 4-wheeler.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Cheryl Jordan, who died December 14, 2001.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his daughter Cyndy Evans and husband James of Kingston NH, grandchildren, Jessica Evans and Jeremy Evans both of Kingston NH, sister, Dorothy "Duffy" Rogers of Fremont NH, and several nieces and nephews.
