His parents were the late Joseph and Isabella Pietrantonio. He was a US Army veteran who served during World War II. He lived in Bridgeport before moving to Trumbull in 1955, where he was a member of St. Theresa's Church. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Bridgeport Local Carpenters Union. Mr. Pietrantonio was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the New York Giants and the UConn girls basketball team.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marion; devoted daughters, Linda Pietrantonio of Trumbull and Judy Marcel and her husband, Michael, of Shelton; beloved grandsons, Lance Corporal Jeffrey C. Marcel, USMC, and Christopher M. Marcel.
He was also predeceased by two brothers, Paul and John Pietrantonio; and a sister, Lena Pietrantonio.
Funeral services with full military honors were held.
