Graveside services for Roy Shelton, 76, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at East Mount Cemetery with Rev. Bob Layman officiating. Mr. Shelton died Sunday in a fire at his Greenville Club Lake home.

A native of Bell County, he was born Aug. 21, 1899, the son of Thomas M. And Mary Guthrie Shelton. He was a retired contractor.

Survivors are two brothers, Sam Shelton of Irving and Dr. Herbert Shelton of San Antonio, and four sisters, Mae Broom of Fort Worth, Willie Pape of Gretna, La., Grace Slade of Greenville and Juanita Jecker of Houston. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
