Irene Shoulders Yates, 90, of Adairville, died Jan. 22, 2013, at her home.

She was born in Simpson County, KY. on Feb. 26, 1922, a daughter of the late Hoy Shoulders and Ruth Couthern Shoulders.

Mrs. Yates was a member of Spring Vally Baptist Church and attended Keysburg Baptist Church.

Funeral was at Youngs Funeral Home in Russellville Chapel with Brother Steve Woody officiating.

Pallbearers were RogerCreek, Eric Davenport, J.T. Davenport, Tyler Davenport, Cody Heartherly and Trent Yates.

She is survived by her son , Harold and Carol Yates of Auburn; her daughters, Elizabeth Smith of Springfield, Tenn. and Hazel and Doug Davenport and Lillian and Larry McComas, both of Adairville; her brother ,HernyShoulders and Howard Shoulders, both of Adairville; her sister; Anna Ruth Dorris and Lucille Ramsey, both of Adairville; and a total of 76 grandchildern, greart-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildern.
