Funeral services for Carson Tatum, 55, who died Thursday morning of a heart attack at his home at Monee, IL, were conducted at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Blewett Funeral Home. Services were in charge of the Rev. J. J. Bowman, pastor of the Auburn Baptist Church. Burial in Auburn Cemetery. Pallbearers were burr Tatum, Mack Simpson, Lynne Shifflett, Ernest Tatum, Wade Woodard and Tom Blewett. Mr. Tatum was born and reared in Logan County, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eli Tatum. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pauline Hamblin Tatum, a daughter, Mrs. Ray Brock, and two grandchildren, all of Monee; four sisters, Mrs. J. M. Bullard of Russellville; Mrs. Will Hamblin of Auburn; Mrs. Jessie Simpson and Mrs. Ida Simpson, both of Logan County, and two brothers, Burr Tatum, Logan County, and Ernest Tatum, Bowling Green.
