CRYTZ, William Connor
Served in Co. E, 34th Regiment, NC Troops, Infantry. Transferred to this company on June 8, 1863 in exchange for Private Andrew C. Fulenwider. Present or accounted for until wounded in the back at Morton's Ford, Va., Oct. 11, 1863. Returned to duty prior to January 15, 1864, and present or accounted for until captured at Winchester, Va, July 20, 1864. Confined at Camp Chase, Ohio until released on or abour May 8, 1865 after taking the Oath of Allegiance.

He was the brother of Henry Jackson Crytz.
