Mrs. Mamie Robb Staggs, age 80, of Florence, died Thursday Sept. 19,2003.
Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, from 1 p.m. until 1:30p.m. at Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence.
The graveside service will be at 2p.m. at the Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, with Lawrence Williams officiating. Entombment will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Loyd King, Jimmy McAdams, Doyle Smith, John Fritts, Sammy Fritts and Jack Broadfoot.
Born in Maury County, Tenn., a resident of Lauderdale County for over 50 years, she was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She attended Glendale and East Florence churches. Darby Drive Church of Christ provided Sunday services at the nursing home, which she attended faithfully.
A homemaker, she prided herself in taking care of her home an family. Among her hobbies, she enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Bertha Adams Robb; sister Viola Robb; husband, Ollie A.Staggs, in 2000 and her son Dorrie Ray Staggs, in 1970.
Survivors include her son, Gerald Staggs and his wife, Reva, of Florence;sisters, Virgiia staggs and Mary Robb, both of Columbia, Tennn.; brother, willie Robb of Killen; granddaughter; Kim King and her husband, Loyd, of Florence.
