LONGWOOD, Fla. - David Zemel, 54, of Longwood, Fla., formerly of Mattoon, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2012, at his residence. There will be no local service. The graveside service with military rites took place at All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry, Fla. Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home in East Altamonte, Fla. was in charge of the arrangements. He was born Feb. 14, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Sanford and Laura Khaner Zemel. He married Cathy Honn; she survives. Other survivors include his mother, Laura Zemel; and two brothers, Marc Zemel and Alan Zemel. He was preceded in death by his father.
