Robert W. Tolbert, age 58 of Gaar's Mill, Louisiana, passed away January 24, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Tolbert was born in Pineville, and was a Logger and Farmer for many years.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Corrinne Bryant Wise, Brother Lloyd Cecil Wise, Step-Father Lloyd Wise, Father-in-law Clovis Braswell and also by a nephew Mitchell Culberson.
Mr. Tolbert is survived by his Wife of 38 years Patricia Ann Braswell Tolbert, two Sons Ronnie Tolbert and wife Mary of Wapakoneta, OH, and Carl Tolbert of Gaar's Mill, LA., one daughter Tonia O'Bryan and husband Chris of Gaar's Mill, LA, seven Grandchildren Clayton O'Bryan, Tyler O'Bryan, Heather Tolbert, Brittney Tolbert, Samantha Atwood, Josh Atwood, and Lee Atwood .
He is also survived by his Father Robert Nelson Tolbert of Pineville, La., Mother-in-law Laverne Braswell of Tannehill, LA., two brothers Fred Tolbert and wife Sissy of Winnfield, LA., Roger Wise of Gaar's Mill, LA., six sisters Virginia Mitcham of Gaar's Mill, LA., Jo Ann Procell and husband Jr. of Gaar's Mill, LA., Ola Avery and husband Mark of West Monroe, LA., Brenda Wise and husband John of Provencal, LA., Jan Parker and husband Jr. of Rayville, LA., and Shirley Stroud and husband Carl of Pineville, LA.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 27, 2012 at 2PM in the Friendship Baptist Church near Sikes, La with Bro. Mike Green officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La.
Friends may visit with the family in the Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Tolbert, Greg Culberson, Craig Culberson, Kyle Humphries, Cody Cooke, and Jeremy Parker. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mark Smith and Stacy Bonds.
