Obituary

It is with regret that we chronicle the death of one of the beloved pupils of Sacred Heart school, Miss Louise Dultmeier, which occurred last Thursday morning at St. Anthony hospital.
Louise Dultmeier was born May 5, 1917, on the farm where her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dultmeier, Jr. reside. Her illness was of short duration, only a week ago, she complained of not feeling well, a day later, her illness was pronounced to be appendicitis. She was taken to the hospital at Carroll on Saturday, and was operated on Saturday evening. The operation was a success, but evidently Louise was not strong enough to throw off the poison that had accumulated in her body and her heart was affected.
Besides her parents, she leaves a sister, Florence, and a brother, Joseph; an elder sister and brother preceded her in death. She also leaves her aged grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dultmeier, Sr., and a number of uncles and aunts.
The funeral took place Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock at Sacred Heart church, Templeton. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Huesmann read the Requiem High Mass and burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery.
The pupils of the entire school marched in a body and accompanied the funeral procession to the cemetery.
Louise was a lovable character, always pleasant and satisfied with whatever fell to her lot, as she had been in life so she was when she felt that death was approaching. Hers was a simple child like faith, not found so often in this day and age. May she rest in peace.
