Elijah Wesley "Lige" Ham, son of Blasingame Ham, was born in either Alabama or Tennessee. He was residing in Izard County, Arkansas in 1857 and enlisted in Searcy County, Arkansas to serve in Company E., 45th Regiment, Arkansas Militia during the Civil War.

There is no known proof that Lige is buried in Mayberry Cemebery but it has long been believed by his descentants that his is one of the several graves in this cemetery marked only by unengraved field stones. Lige had resided near the cemetery in Carroll County, Arkansas since the 1870s and his wife, as well as four of his children, are known to be buried there. The latest known record of Elijah Wesley Ham is a receipt showing that he paid the taxes on his property in Carroll County, Arkansas in 1891.
