Mrs. Boyett, a native of Ware County, was the daughter of the late George T. and Bessie King Deen and the widow of Ed Boyett. She was the oldest member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and served on the DFACS board of Lanier County for many years. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Dot and Charles Howell, sons-in-law John Sears, Paul Smith, and Lesley Davidson and granddaughter Susan Elaine Sears.
Survivors include her children; Doris Sears of Atlanta, Irene Smith of Gaithersburg, MD, Louise Davidson of Bonaire and Earl (Rhea) Boyett of Lakeland. Nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be Sunday in the Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City, GA.
