Henrietta Evelyn McDowell was born August 14, 1912 in Shinglehouse, Pa. the youngest daughter of Harley B. McDowell and Lucy Evelyn Turner McDowell. She died November 3, 1975 at Saint James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, NY.
She was married to David Gerald Lee in 1933 at The Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville. She was the mother of Constance Jean (Lee) Shepherd, Loretta Evelyn (Lee) Cronin, Gerald David Lee, Robert Richard Lee, Sr., Thomas Eugene Lee, Jacqueline Marie (Lee) Gardner, James Francis Lee.
She is survied by twenty six grandchildren and many more great grandchildren.
She was a faithful member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville as well as the Altar and Rosary Society.
She loved to laugh and tell stories and will be always remember for her heroic battle with cancer.
