Arlene M. Stahlman, 76, of Clarion R.D. 3, died Friday, April 15, 1994 at home.

Mrs. Stahlman was born August 14, 1917 in Conifer, the daughter of John A. and Sarah Ellen (Klien) Myers. She was married to Earl Leroy Stahlman, who preceded her in death on January 1, 1981.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Shippenville United Methodist Church, Pomona Grange and the Ship Mates Senior Citizens of Shippenville.

Surviving relatives include a son, Mervin L. Stahlman of Knox, a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Grace) Stark of Clarion; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; six brothers: Joe Myers of Saegertown, Cal Myers of Worthville, Johnny Myers of Summerville, Ken Myers of Brookville, Albert Myers of New Castle, and Bernard Myers of New Castle; and two sisters: Nellie Rankin of New Castle, and Mary Louise Myers of Punxsutawney.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by a great-grandson, Skipper Stark; her parents; two sisters, Florence Sholbert and Dorothy Myers; and two brothers, Howard Myers and Bill Myers.

Funeral services were held April 17 in Clarion. The Rev. Audrey Sheerer officiated. Interment was in Cedarview Memorial Park.

The family has suggested memorials may be made to the Shippenville United Methodist Church or the Clarion Hospital Ambulance Service.
