Tinker was the daughter of the late Melvin Clemmons and Nettie Hewett. Tinker was predeceased in death by her loving husband, James H. Northrop Sr.; sister Sue McCall and brothers Hubert Hewett, Burdette Hewett and Wingate Hewett, all of whom were waiting with open arms. She is survived by her three children and their spouses which she considered as her own, Deanna and Greg Southerland, of Hampstead, Aimee and Richard Palmer, of Myrtle Beach, James and Susie Northrop, of Rocky Point. Six Grandchildren, Brandon and Brent Southerland, Janelle Martinez, Hali Palmer, Georgia and James Northrop, great grandson Jaden and one on the way all who will be missing their "Gammy." Also numerous nieces, nephews and sisters in law that she loved dearly.
