Mr. Stanley Altman was born March 14, 1950 in Douglas, GA to Mrs. Leatha Altman and the late Mr. Kelly Altman. He was educated in Ware County. He later moved to Jacksonville, FL and joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1968. He departed this life on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Ima Altman; mother, Leatha Altman, 3 brothers, Autrey, Michael Jerome, and Undra Lamar Altman (Mary Jane); 2 sisters, Fannie Nell Allen and Linda Altman; 3 sons, Stanley and Jarmine Brown, and step-son Alenard George; daughter, Tanya Williams, brother-in-law Jackson Webb, sister-in-law Mary Gathers (Eusa), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives and many treasured friends. A Home Going service will be held today, Saturday, November 5, 2011 accepting friends at 10 a.m. and services to follow at 11 a.m. in True Light of God in Christ Holy Family, 2964 Thomas St., Jacksonville, FL 32254. Interment will take place Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Jacksonville National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Eternity Funeral Home, Jacksonville, 4856 Oakdale Ave., Jacksonville, FL.
