Darius Carrier, of Summerville, died at his home in that place Monday morning of this week, after an illness of seven or eight days, from an attack of paralysis.

"Darius Carrier, of Summerville, died at his home in that place Monday morning of this week, after an illness of seven or eight days, from an attack of paralysis. ... His last wife died about a year ago.... He was at one time a Commissioner of Jefferson County but resigned before the expiration of his term. "
