Mrs. Hamm was born August 14, 1919, in Newberry, a daughter of the late Rev. Geradus F. and Nancy Ansel Clarkson. She was a member of Wightman United Methodist Church and the Nancy Clarkson Circle.
Mrs. Hamm is survived by her husband of Newberry; a daughter, Susan Hamm Davis of Charleston; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel H. III and Martha Jo Shell "Mot" Hamm of Myrtle Beach; a sister, Margaret Clarkson Welborn of Anderson; and a brother, Gordon F. Clarkson of Newberry; two grandchildren, E. Shell Hamm Graham and D. H. Hamm, IV, both of Myrtle Beach; and a great granddaughter, Cameron.
Funeral services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2005, at Wightman United Methodist Church by the Rev. Eddie Taylor. Interment in Prosperity Cemetery.
