Daughter of the American Revolution - Descendant of Descendant of Colonel James Slaughter.

She was the daughter of Charles Edward Harris and Lallie Linthicum Adle Harris.
On February 26, 1890 as Lulie Wiles Harris, she married Charles Darwin Permebaker at Nelson, Kentucky.
Per the 1910 Census, they were the parents of 11 children with eight living including Including Lucinda Pennebaker Johnson Converse (1891-1988) and Margaret Pennebaker Dawson (1906-2003).
