MATTA ROSARY
RITES SCHEDULED
HERE TONIGHT
The rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 at West Funeral Home chapel for Mrs. Natividad Matta, 34, of 805 Presidio Street, who died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. in San Jose Catholic Church by Rev. Edward Collett. Burial will be in Santa Catarina Cemetery.
A resident of Carlsbad for 13 years, Mrs. Matta was born Dec. 25, 1926 at Balmorhea, Tex. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors are her husband, Daniel Matta of Carlsbad; Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Vasquez of Balmorhea, Tex.; four sons, Daniel Matta, Jr., Louis, Arturo, and Sammy Matta, all of Carlsbad; two daughters, Augustina and Louise Matta, both of Carlsbad; eight brothers, Apolonio and Genaro Vasquez, both of Fort Stockton, Tex.; Juan Vasquez of Carlsbad, Ricardo Pedro, Frank, Donesimo and Presiliano Vasquez, all of Balmorhea; two sisters, Mrs Valvina Matta and Miss Lita Vasquez, both of Balmorhea.
