Carolina Huff Snyder, daughter of Kathrine and Jacob Huff, was born near Bremen, Ind., November 14, 1849, and departed this life Sunday morning, December 1, 1929, in the home of her son Ellsworth, who resides on the old home farm southeast of Argos, aged eighty years and seventeen days. She was united in marriage to Henry Snyder in the month of April, 1870. To this happy union eleven children were given to bless their home, seven sons and four daughters. She leaves to mourn the following children, Simon Snyder of Tippecanoe; Mrs. Leora Bodey of Argos; Mrs. Minnie Zehner of Plymouth; George, Ben and Ellsworth of near Argos; Drew Snyder of College Station, Texas, and Russell Snyder of Holtville, California. Orpha Rena, Sarah and an infant son having preceded their mother in death. Her husband, Henry Snyder, died February 8, 1908.
