WINSTON-SALEM – Don Ledbetter, 75, passed away September 22, 2011 at Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington.

Don was born May 15, 1936 in Buncombe County to the late David Nelson and Dice King Ledbetter, Sisters; Dorothy Gillespie, Daisy Warren, Demia Austin, Doshie King and brother Dan Ledbetter.

Don was a member of Lake Road Baptist Church in Thomasville, retired from Parkdale Mills in Thomasville and loved to hunt and run his dogs, especially Starr.

Survived by his loving wife Joyce Clodfelter Ledbetter of the home, daughter Angela Pendegraph and her husband Keith of Lexington, son Derek Ledbetter of Winston Salem, sisters; Delia Clark of Thomasville, Doxie Giles and her husband James of Ypsilanti, Mi, Doris "Babe" Justus and her husband Claude of Leicester, NC, Dessie Gillespie of Leister, NC, grandchildren Christopher Barnes, Bonny Barnes, Dustin Ledbetter and great grandchild Michael Blocker.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Saturday September 24, 2011 at Thomasville Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday September 25, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Guilford Coleman and Reverend Michael Mabe officiating, followed by interment in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
