Margaret Williams, 85, Fairland, died yesterday at W. S. Major Hospital. A lifelong Shelby County resident, she was born in Shelbyville on Sept. 11, 1903, to William and Daisy McDonall.
She was a member of the Fairland United Methodist Church. She was married to French L. Williams in 1947, who survives.
Others survivors include a daughter, Jean Stewart, of Greenwood; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held graveside at Forest Hill Cemetery on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Brian White officiating. Contributions may be made to the Fairland United Methodist Church.
